Bee and cactus flower
Bureau of Land Management
This bee was busy harvesting pollen from a cactus flower at the Agua Fria National Monument . You may see bees with "saddlebags" or "pollen baskets" that they use to collect pollen and nectar, which makes it easier to carry back to the hive. Photo credit: A.J. Whiteman/BLM
